Tony is a Principal Lecturer, Consultant and Information Security Researcher at the University of Wolverhampton. He has over 30 years’ experience in the IT Industry covering varied sectors and roles within large organisations. For the past 15 years he has specialised in the field of Cyber Security. A frequent writer and speaker on cybersecurity, he is an innovator in regional cyber resilience and has pioneered cyber security information sharing in the Midlands region and beyond in the U.K and has spoken at international forums. He has worked extensively with Local Councils and other organisations to improve cyber resilience and is closely engaged with the Cyber Security community nationally. He sits on key cybersecurity groups including the Local Government Cyber Technical Advisory Group. In addition to teaching Cybersecurity at Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels, he has managed several key projects at the University of Wolverhampton and has served as an adviser to and worked with other Universities in the field. He holds key security qualifications including: Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), GDPR Practitioner and has an MSc in Computing
